 Designed by Paul Putman and opened in 1972 Villamartin was one of the original golf courses built in Torrevieja.

A challenging par 72 measuring 6.132 metres, Villamartin´s signature hole (described by some as the best par 3 in spain), is 230 yards from the elevated back tee and is all carry over a valley and branca to a two-tiered green, with a spectacular view.

After becoming tired looking in the last few years the course has had an image overhaul, with massively-improved condition.

Well worth a play,and known for hosting the 1994 Mediterranean Open.
