La Manga has hosted some of the most prestigious championships and tournaments in the golfing industry, such as: the Spanish open, the Spanish PGA championship,  Spanish junior championship, aswell as countless televised corporate and celebrity golf events.

Designed by Dave Thomas and Robert Dean Putman and opened in 1971.

The complex has 3 golf courses (NORTH,SOUTH AND WEST), the south being the most popular as it’s the main championship course,where Arnold Palmer made an Eagle 3 to win the Spanish Open back in 1975.
